The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 today, February 4, 2026.
Candidates who appeared for the January session can now download the answer key and their response sheets from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
According to the official notice, the provisional answer keys of Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), along with question papers and recorded responses, are available online. Candidates can challenge the answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. The objection window will remain open for a limited period, after which NTA will finalise the key.
The final answer key and JEE Main Session 1 results are expected to be announced on February 12, 2026. To access the answer key and response sheet, candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth or password.
NTA has also opened registration for Session 2 of JEE Mains 2026, scheduled for April 2 and April 9, 2026. Candidates must apply by February 25, 2026. Those who appeared in Session 1 can log in with their existing application number and password to register and pay the fee for Session 2.
NTA advised all candidates to regularly check the official website for updates regarding objections, final answer keys, and results.
