Nitish government’s recommendation, Center accepted

There was a demand for a CBI investigation for a long time to investigate this case impartially. In view of the anger of the public and the victim’s family, CM Nitish Kumar had formally requested the Government of India to conduct a CBI investigation into the case. The Center immediately approved this request of the State Government, after which the responsibility of investigation was handed over to the Central Agency.

Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary was the first to give information about this. He had said on social media that the state government has recommended a CBI investigation. He assured that the government will take every step to ensure justice.
