US singer D4vd has been arrested after the body of a missing teenage girl was discovered inside his Tesla.

Officers confirmed that the TikTok star, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has been taken into custody in connection with the death of the teenager, who vanished .

Burke was the subject of a grand jury investigation into the suspected murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, 14, after her remains were uncovered in his vehicle in September.

The Los Angeles Police Department announced on Thursday that the 21-year-old was being held without bail, with the case set to be presented to the District Attorney's office on Monday for filing consideration.

The singer has made no public comment on the matter, though representatives for the musician confirmed he was cooperating with authorities throughout the investigation.

Officials stated that records relating to the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez have been barred from public release.

The court order means that no details surrounding Hernandez's death can be disclosed or published on the Los Angeles County medical examiner's office website.

Hernandez's remains were discovered inside the boot of D4vd's impounded Tesla on September 8, 2025, following reports of a foul smell at a Hollywood tow yard.

Rivas Hernandez, from Lake Elsinore in California, was last seen in April 2024.
