New Delhi: A heart-wrenching incident has emerged from Jammu and Kashmir. A bus packed with passengers, traveling from Ramnagar town in Jammu towards Udhampur, plunged into a deep gorge at the foot of a hill. Fifteen people lost their lives in this road accident. Many others sustained injuries, and the condition of some is reported to be critical.

Given the severity of the injuries, the death toll could potentially rise further. Upon receiving information about the incident, the local administration rushed to the scene, where a rescue operation was launched to extricate the victims. The injured have been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

Those in critical condition were airlifted to the hospital. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh stated, “I am in constant touch with the local administration as well as our team of local workers, led by Mr Rajinder Sharma.”
