Lucknow. On the strength of the brilliant batting of Josh Inglis (72), Ayush Badoni (43) and Abdul Samad (37 not out), Lucknow Super Giants scored a huge score of 196 runs for six wickets against Punjab Kings in the 68th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Saturday.
Here today Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first. Lucknow Super Giants, who came to bat, had a bad start and lost two wickets at the score of 20 runs. Arshin Kulkarni (zero) and Nicholas Pooran (two) were out after scoring runs.
After this, Ayush Badoni, who came to bat, tried to control the innings along with Josh English. 49 runs were added between the two batsmen for the third wicket. In the seventh over, Yuzvendra Chahal broke this partnership by dismissing Badoni. Badoni played an innings of 43 runs in 18 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes.
Chahal dismissed Rishabh Pant (26) in the 14th over. In the 17th over, Shashank Singh dismissed Josh Inglis, who was heading towards a century, and sent him to the pavilion. Inglis played an innings of 72 runs in 44 balls, hitting nine fours and two sixes. Marco Jansson dismissed Mukul Choudhary (one) in the 18th over.
Lucknow Super Giants scored a huge score of 196 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Abdul Samad played an inning of runs (37 not out) hitting three fours and three sixes in 20 balls. Arjun Tendulkar scored five unbeaten runs in five balls.
