Public sector Punjab and Sindh Bank has announced recruitment for apprentice posts (PSB Recruitment 2026). For which the application process has started. The total number of vacancies is 635. Which is divided into 29 states and union territories. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of vacancies, total vacancy is 100. There are 90 vacancies in Punjab and 50 in Haryana. To apply, General, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 200 along with applicable taxes and payment gateway charges. The application fee for SC/ST/PwBD is Rs 100.

Who can apply?

Must have regular graduation degree or equivalent qualification from any recognized university or institute. Local language proficiency is also mandatory. For local language, 8th/10th/12th/graduation marksheet or certificate will have to be provided. Those who have completed post graduation or have one year or more experience will not be allowed to apply. Registration on NAPS or NATS portal will also be mandatory.

The prescribed age limit is minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. Maximum age relaxation will be given up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC NCL and 10 years for PwBD candidates.

Selection Process and Salary

The selection process will consist of three stages. In the first phase, state wise, district wise and category wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of information entered in the application form. No written examination will be conducted. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification, information about which will be received on email. During this, candidates have to appear with original documents and self-attested photocopies. After this there will be medical examination. After appointment, you will get a stipend of Rs 12,300 every month. The duration of training will be one year.
