NIOS Group A Recruitment: National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ Applications have been invited for recruitment to a total of 34 posts. This recruitment will be done on deputation basis. No application fee will be charged from any category of candidates for this recruitment.

Selected candidates can be appointed at NIOS Headquarters, Noida or at 20 regional centers located across the country. Candidates can be posted in any part of the country as per the requirement of the institute. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website.

Under this recruitment drive, 3 posts of Assistant Director (Academic), 1 of Academic Officer (Hindi), 1 of Librarian, 14 of Section Officer, 1 of Assistant Audit Officer and 14 of Assistant will be filled. Selected candidates will get salary ranging from Level-4 to Level-11 under the Seventh Pay Commission as per the post.

The highest salary for the post of Assistant Director has been fixed at Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700 per month. Educational qualifications ranging from 12th pass to master’s degree, library science, accounting, commerce and experience in fields have been fixed for various posts. This recruitment is being conducted mainly on deputation basis for the employees working in government or autonomous institutions.

In the recruitment process, applications will be screened first. After this, eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for interview. Mere fulfillment of minimum qualifications will not entitle you to being called for interview. The maximum age limit for all posts has been fixed at 56 years.
