Coriander Panjiri is very much liked by Lord Krishna. Most of us buy it from the market and offer it. But if you want, you can easily make it at home also. Making Coriander Panjiri is very easy. Material



  • Coriander Powder: 1 cup (freshly ground)

  • Pure Ghee: 3 to 4 tbsp

  • Makhana: 1 cup (cut into small pieces)

  • Chopped nuts: ½ cup (almonds, cashews, and pistachios)

  • Grated coconut: half cup

  • Bura or powdered sugar: half cup (as per taste)

  • Chironji: 1 tablespoon

  • Green cardamom powder: half teaspoon


method of making


step 1: First of all, heat 2 spoons of pure ghee in a heavy bottom pan.


Step 2: Add chopped cashews, almonds and chironji to it and fry on medium flame till it becomes light golden. After this, take them out in a plate.


Step 3: Now add some remaining ghee in the same pan and add makhana and fry till it becomes crisp. Take out the makhanas and keep them aside.


Step 4: Add 1 spoon more ghee in the pan and add coriander powder to it. Fry it on low flame while stirring continuously until a nice aroma starts coming from the coriander and its color becomes slightly darker.


Step 5: Mix grated coconut in the roasted coriander and turn off the gas. The heat of the pan will fry the coconut.


Step 6: Now take out this roasted coriander and coconut mixture in a big vessel. Mix roasted dry fruits, makhana and cardamom powder well.


Step 7: Let the mixture cool completely. When it cools down completely, add sugar or powdered sugar to it and mix well.
