Kanpur. Panki police station has taken major action by arresting four accused wanted in a case to cyber crime. According to the police, this action was taken on the instructions of Police Commissioner Kanpur City as part of the campaign being run against crime and criminals.


Panki Police Force under the leadership of Inspector-in-Charge, M.S. Searched for the accused wanted in 479/2026. The case has been registered under sections 303(2), 318(4), 317(2), 61(2)(a) BNS and 66D IT Act. Police identified the arrested accused as Nikhil Sonkar (21 years), resident of EWS 28 Part-1 Panki Gangaganj, Rishabh Kushwaha alias Reesh (19 years), resident of 246 F Block Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Nagar, Akhil Sonkar (19 years), resident of EWS 28 Part-1 Panki Gangaganj and Himanshu Chaudhary (19 years), resident of Chhatepur Bhauti Pratappur, police station Sachendi.

According to the police, on the information of an informer, the four accused were arrested from the back road near Pantali warehouse in Panki area. Police has informed that cases have been registered against the arrested accused Nikhil Sonkar and Akhil Sonkar in the past also. There are three criminal cases against Nikhil and two cases against Akhil in Panki police station. Police have started necessary legal action against all the accused. After the information about the action came to light, the local people appreciated the promptness of the police.
