Soket Labs and ZenteiQ on Tuesday launched indigenous artificial intelligence foundation models under the , marking another step in the country's push to build homegrown AI capabilities.




EKA-1, developed by Soket Labs, and Dhir 2B and Dhir 5B, developed by ZenteiQ are some of the models unveiled under the initiative.




MeitY Secretary S Krishnan and senior officials of the ministry and IndiaAI were present at the launch event.




The launch is part of the government's push to build a domestic AI ecosystem and develop homegrown foundational AI technologies.
